Tejashree Vaidya is an accomplished Indian classical Kathak dancer, choreographer, and educator based in Mumbai, India. She received her foundational training under Guru Ranjana Phadke at Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyalaya and further pursued a Diploma in "Natyashastra in relation to Kathak" from Bharata College of Fine Arts and Culture. With over 11 years of professional experience, Vaidya has established herself as a versatile artist. Her career as a performer includes representing India in Monaco through a dance drama and captivating audiences with Kathak solo performances in Dubai. She has graced esteemed festivals such as Vande Mataram, Nrutyangan, and Kinkini Festival, and performed at notable events like the Indian Telly Awards in 2011 and the Soorya Festival, where she performed in the presence of Mr. Pranab Mukherjee. Her global performances extend to Malaysia, Singapore, Oman, and Qatar. Beyond performing, Tejashree Vaidya is the Founder and Director of Tejashree's Shree Kala Nrutyalaya (TSKN), an institution dedicated to Kathak education. She has also contributed significantly to the commercial and entertainment industry, working as a Kathak Trainer for prominent celebrities including Alia Bhatt, Janhavi Kapoor, and Divyansha Kaushik. Additionally, she served as an Assistant Choreographer for Sanjay Leela Bhansali's production for a Netflix web series, Heeramandi. Vaidya is also a key artistic presence within Nritarutya, where her role in "Mughal-e-Azam: The Musical" evolved from a performer to a Shadow Rehearsal Director, demonstrating her deep engagement with choreography, storytelling, and dancer coordination.
