Yashaswini Raghuram is an Indian classical dancer who began her journey in Bharatanatyam at the age of nine in Bangalore, India. She trained in Bharatanatyam for ten years under Smt. Shubha Dhananjay. Later, she became a disciple of Dr. Smt. Aparupa Chatterjee at the University of Texas, Dallas, where she has been training in the Guru Kelucharan Mohapatra Gharana of Odissi. Yashaswini Raghuram serves as the assistant Director, Treasurer, and Repertory Dancer of the Odissi Dance Company, and is also an assistant faculty member there. She is actively involved in dance event management, having assisted Dr. Chatterjee in organizing the 3rd and 4th North American Odissi Convention in Texas. In 2017, she curated the Nritya Shubha Dance Festival in Portland, an event aimed at promoting Indian classical dance and propagating Odissi. Her notable Odissi performances include appearances at Odissi International 2016, Dallas Samsarga Festival, Baal Dan charity festival, San Antonio City Lights Festival, Portland India Festival, Portland Kalakendra Nrityotsava 2017, Spicmacay Festival, Kelucharan Guna Keertanam, North American Odissi Convention, and America's Got Talent. She is recognized as a choreographer, traditionalist, dance administrator, and teacher. Awards & Honours: Top 10 Talent Search (2017).
