Joined Kerala Kalamandalam — Became part of the first batch of the Kathakali section.
1947
International Debut and Australian Tour — Left Kalamandalam with Louise Lightfoot; became the first Indian stage artist to perform in Australia.
1949
London Debut — His debut performance in London was a sensation.

Extensive International Tours — Toured extensively in Canada, USA, UK, New Zealand, Tasmania, Fiji, and Japan.

Founded See India Foundation — Initiated an institution for friendship and cultural promotion in Cochin.
