Began dancing — Started learning Bharatanatyam at the age of 6.

Arangetram/Debut performance — Her debut performance, after which she performed as a solo artist for over seven years before May 2018.
Worked as an IT Engineer — Worked for Deloitte as a consultant for two years before pursuing dance full-time.

Founded Hema Arangam – The Golden Platform — Started her dance school and began teaching.

Bharatanatyam Recital at Saptaparni, Hyderabad — Presented the traditional 'margam' repertoire.

Performed 'Stories of the Soil' at Hyderabad Literary Festival — Performed Tamil folklore through Bharatanatyam dance interspersed with singing and storytelling.
