Kavya Kasinathan is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer and a passionate writer. She is a disciple of Natyacharya Shri Mithun Shyam of Vaishnavi Natyashala, Bengaluru, who himself is a disciple of the legendary Padmini Ramachandran. Kavya completed her Arangetram in June 2014 and has since given over 104 solo performances. Her performances have been noted for their maturity, precision, and expressive abhinaya. She holds a Masters in English Literature and Dance, and has also achieved distinctions in Senior Dance & Vocal Music and Junior Konnakol examinations conducted by the Karnataka State Secondary Board. Beyond her performances, Kavya contributes to the arts as a freelance writer, penning reviews and reports for publications like Narthaki.
