Lucky Prajna Pratisthita Mohanty is a distinguished Indian classical Odissi dancer, teacher, and choreographer. She is a disciple of Padma Shri Guru Kumkum Mohanty and also received training at the esteemed Kala Vikash Kendra in Cuttack, Odisha. Mohanty is recognized as an 'A' grade artiste of Prasar Bharati, a Gold Medalist, a National Scholarship Holder, and holds the title of Singarmani. She is based in Hyderabad, India, but also has significant ties to Cuttack, Odisha, and Raipur, Chhattisgarh. As a dedicated educator, she has been teaching Odissi since 2010, serving as a Dance Master at Rajkumar College, an Odissi Dance Master Trainer at SCERT Raipur, and an Odissi Dance Faculty Teacher at Sangeet Sangyan. Mohanty has founded and leads multiple institutions, including the Nritya Prajna Public Charitable Trust, Lucky Mohanty Odissi Academy in Raipur-Chhattisgarh, and Nritya Prajna Tulasipur in Cuttack, where she also serves as Chairman. She is committed to preserving and promoting Odissi, ensuring its timeless rhythms and stories reach new generations. Her performances include notable appearances at the International Odissi Dance Festival, Mukteswar Dance Festival, and Anand Utsav, celebrating the legacy of legendary gurus.
