Manya Yellepeddy is an accomplished Kuchipudi dancer, performer, author, and tech entrepreneur based in Northern Virginia, USA. She has been deeply immersed in the world of Kuchipudi for 11 years, training at the renowned Kalanidhi Dance. Manya began her training at Kalanidhi at the age of five, initially under Anuradha Nehru and later under Pragnya Thamire. As a company dancer with Kalanidhi, she has performed in acclaimed productions and collaborations such as "Saagarika," "Reclaim," and "Bhoomi." Beyond her performances, Manya is recognized for her innovative contributions to dance education. She is the author of a children's book inspired by her own journey as a dancer, aiming to share the magic of classical dance with the next generation. Manya is also the founder of Dalea, an AI-powered platform designed to revolutionize dance education. The inspiration for Dalea stemmed from her observations of challenges faced by students and teachers in traditional dance education, particularly regarding effective at-home practice and consistent feedback. Dalea leverages AI to guide students in their practice, helping them refine their movements and technique, and empowering teachers to extend their reach. In 2020, Manya received first place in Dance Choreography at the RCMS PTA Reflections program. Currently a high school senior, Manya's interests extend beyond dance to include STEM learning and tech entrepreneurship, showcasing her versatility and commitment to integrating technology with classical arts.
