Prema Sadasaivam is a prominent figure in Indian performing arts, with a career spanning over five decades in music, classical dances, and theatre. She possesses a diverse skillset encompassing education, Carnatic music, various classical dance forms, stage plays, and television. Sadasaivam has notably spearheaded and performed leading roles in acclaimed dance dramas such as "Abhignyana Shakunthalam" and "Vikramorvasiyum." These productions earned her the prestigious Swarna Kalash Award at the All India meet in Ujjain, organized by the Kalidas Samaroh Samiti. Her creative contributions also include the dance drama "Krishna Parijatham." Prema Sadasaivam has a significant legacy of choreographing and presenting more than 40 short and long dance dramas for a variety of organizations, including non-governmental organizations (NGOs), Lions International, and the Mylapore Academy. Her contributions to the arts have been recognized, including an honor from Sri Krishna Gana Sabha on the very first International Theatre Day. In recent times, she co-founded "Oho Productions," an amateur drama troupe, alongside her husband, TD Sadasivam, further solidifying her impact on Tamil Theatre.
