Roopa Guha is an Indian classical dancer specializing in Bharatanatyam. She pursued a part-time Diploma in Bharatanatyam at the esteemed Kalakshetra, College of Fine Arts, Chennai, where she received training from several prominent figures in the art form. Furthering her academic qualifications in dance, she completed a post-graduate degree in Bharatanatyam from Sastra University, Thanjavur. Her extensive training includes over a decade of tutelage under Chitra Chandrashekhar Dasarathy. Currently, Roopa Guha is active as a full-time classical dancer and is a performer with the Ameya Repertory. In addition to her performance career, she has established and leads her own dance academy, Natarajasana, located in Whitefield, Bengaluru, where she imparts her knowledge and passion for Bharatanatyam to students.
