Dr. Tony Aloysius Pius is an Indian classical dancer with a specialization in Bharatanatyam. He holds a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) in Bharatanatyam from Sastra University. In addition to his dance education, Dr. Pius is a graduate of St. John's Medical College in Bangalore. His diverse training includes contemporary dance, which he undertook at the Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts and Mixed Media. Dr. Pius is an active performer, regularly presenting solo works. He is also a member of the Vyuti Dance Company and the Ameya Repertory. He continues to refine his artistry under the tutelage of the esteemed Guru Chitra Dasarathy. In July 2021, he presented an exclusive classical dance presentation titled 'Jalsa 5'.
